Did you like the emotionally intense mood of the currently airing historical drama anime Requiem of the Rose King?
We have Japanese singer, lyricist, composer, and arranger ZAQ to thank for the ending song that gave us a vivid look into Richard III's thoughts!
In case you missed it, here is Akumu (Japanese: 悪夢, English: Nightmare), the ending song to Requiem of the Rose King.
If you're wondering where else you've heard ZAQ's music, she is popular for Sparkling Daydream, the opening theme for 2012 anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions.
She also sang Gekijouron (激情論), the second opening theme for High School DxD New.
About
ZAQ is a Japanese singer, lyricist, composer, and arranger currently affiliated with Lantis. She began learning the piano at age three and decided to become a singer in college because of her admiration for idol Minori Chihara. ZAQ is a self-taught composer.
Her career took off in 2012 when she debuted with Lantis and sang Sparkling Daydream for the anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. She would continue to sing more theme songs for anime such as Alteration (opening theme for Sasami-san@Ganbaranai) and Overdriver (ending theme for Rail Wars!).
Some of ZAQ's major live performances include the AnimeNEXT 2016 convention at the Atlantic City Convention Center in New Jersey, and the Animelo Summer Live 2017 -THE CARD- in Japan.
