'Uncle from Another World' reveals second PV for July 2022 broadcast

Takafumi's isekai-ed uncle is very ready to talk about his adventures (and his passion for fantasy) in this second PV.

The second promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of Hotondoshindeiru's isekai manga series Uncle from Another World (Romaji: Isekai Ojisan) has been revealed.


The anime is produced by studio Atelier Pontdarc and will air on July 6, 2022.

The series narrates from the perspective of Takafumi (CV: Jun Fukuyama), the nephew of the titular, isekai-ed uncle (ojisan) voiced by Takehito Koyasu.


Takafumi's uncle fell into a coma at the age of 17 after getting hit by a truck. Now, he is awake in the year 2017 and spouting "weird nonsense," claiming he explored a fantasy world with a tsundere elf (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu).


The second PV features the opening and ending themes. The opening theme is story by Mayu Maeshima, while the ending theme is Ichibanboshi Sonority (一番星ソノリティ) by Yuka Iguchi.
