After the season finale, "Tsukimich - Moonlit Fantasy -" has announced that the show will return with a second season, revealing a visual teaser as well as comments from the voice actors.
The visual shows the main character, Makoto Misumi, alongside other characters while they wear formal robes. Makoto is shown to be looking irritatedly at the other characters, namely Mio and Tomoe, who are busy with eating and drinking the food and drinkin front of them. Another character, named Satoru, is seen bowing.
A promotional video for the second season was also dropped to YouTube.
The official voice actors for Makoto, Tomoe, and Mio, expressed their gratitude for the support the anime received and their excitement with the announcement of the second season. Natsuki Hanae, voice actor for Makoto, expressed their joy with the end of the first season, as well as encouraging viewers to stay tuned for the second season. Ayane Sakura, voice actor for Tomoe, commented how excited they are for the development of the story and how the anime will proceed with the light novel's vision. Akari Kito, voice of Mio, also expressed similar sentiments, sharing their excitement to return to the role and to play a part in the upcoming anime.

"Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-" tells the story of Makoto Misumi, a young man who discovers that his parents made a contract with a goddess, which leads him to becoming a hero in another world. But the very same goddess rejects him for his appearance, and he finds himself isolated when the goddess sends him to a far away land, takes away his ability to understand human language, and becomes "ugly" in the eyes of humans. With no other humans around him, Makoto finds himself in the company of non-humans and goes on adventures with his new friends.
