The new TV anime series 'takt op.Destiny' animated in collaboration with animation studios MAPPA and Madhouse has been announced on Sunday during the franchise's stage presentation at MAPPA Stage 2021 -10th Anniversary-. The new anime is set to begin broadcasting on October 5, 2021. A teaser promotional video was revealed featuring the announcement and the reveal of its cast and staff.
The anime is part of the collaboration project produced by Bandai Namco and DeNA named 'takt op.', which depicts "Musicart" girls who battle with classical music. A game was also in works which was previously revealed last March with a project promotional video release.
The new anime series is animated by animation studios MAPPA and Madhouse with Yuuki Itoh serving as the series director. Kiyoko Yoshimura is writing the scripts and Reiko Nagasawa is designing the characters based on the original designs by LAM. Yoshihiro Ike is in charge of the music composition.

Maria Sashide as Kirakira-boshi ("Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star"), who holds the score for Mozart's "Ah vous dirai-je, Maman' K.265 (300e)"
Sumire Uesaka as Walküre, who holds the score for Wagner's "Die Walküre" from the opera Der Ring des Nibelungen
Yumiri Hanamori as Carmen, who holds the score for "Carmen" from Georges Bizet's opera
