'Tai Ari Deshita' shoujo ai manga series receives TV anime adaptation

Ejima Eri's "Tai Ari Deshita. ~Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game Nante Shinai~ (GGWP. ~Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games~)" manga series has been announced to receive a TV anime adaptation on Thursday (JST). The announcement was made through a teaser illustration drawn by the creator in the latest volume of the manga released the same day. No other details has been announced as of writing.

The manga is a Japanese shoujo ai drama and slife of life series written by Ejima Eri which began its serialization in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine in 2020. The first two tankōbon volumes published by Kadokawa were released at the same time on January 21, 2021.

The story is set in a young lady's school, Kuromi Girls' Academy, and depicts high school girls who are very enthusiastic in fighting games. It follows Aya Fukatsuki who transferred into Kuromi Girls Academy a month ago with the goal of changing herself into a proper lady. After meeting the breathtaking Shirayuri, Aya is blown away by her elegance and posterity. Imagine her surprise when she finds Shirayuri after school playing a fighting game and challenge her to a duel.
