The official Twitter for the TV anime adaptation of Okina Baba's "So I'm a Spider, So What? ('Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? ')" light novel series announced on Thursday that the 24th and final episode of first season of the anime will resume broadcasting on July 3 in Japan via AT-X after delay due to production progress. It was originally scheduled to broadcast last June 25.
Last June 24, the broadcast of the final episode of the anime series (Episode 24) has been postponed due to production issues. The season finale episode of the series was originally scheduled to broadcast last Sunday, June 25.
The anime series is a split cour with the first cour premiered on January 8 consisting of 12 episodes and was immediately followed by the second cour by in April 2021. It is animated by animation studio Millepensee with Shin Itagaki serving as the series director and Jōtarō Ishigami as the series producer. Yūichirō Momose and the original author Okina Baba are in charge of the scripts. Kii Tanaka is designing the characters, and Shūji Katayama composing the series' music.
The cast includes Shun Horie as Shun, Nao Tōyama as Katia, Kaito Ishikawa as Hugo, Yui Ogura as Sue, Eri Kitamura as Fei, Kaya Okuno as Filimos, Aimi Tanaka as Yuri, Junya Enoki as Julius, and many more.
The series is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu. A manga adaptation of the series was serialized in the Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace Up manga website on December 22, 2015.
