The first promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of Makoto Ojiro's slice of life series Insomniacs After School has been released.
The anime is slated to broadcast in 2023 and is produced by LIDENFILMS.
The plot begins after the death of one of the Astronomy Club's members. Insomniacs Ganta Nakami (CV: Gen Satō) and Isaki Magari (CV: Konomi Tamura) accidentally find each other in the Astronomy Club's abandoned observatory. This becomes their safe space where they forge an unlikely friendship as they find meaning in their sleepless nights.
Insomniacs After School (Japanese: 君は放課後インソムニア, Romaji: Kimi wa Hōkago Insomunia) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Ojiro. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits since May 2019.
