The official Twitter for the previously-announced TV anime adaptation of Miku and U35's "Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei (The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Mad~)" isekai light novel series has revealed on Wednesday its first promotional video featuring the main cast members of the anime. A teaser visual and more information including the anime's theme song were also revealed. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2021.
The anime production is handled by HOTLINE with Yoshiaki Okumura serving as the series director. The series script is composed by Gigaemon Ichikawa with character designs adapted by Minami Eda from the original designs of U35. The music is composed by Hifumi,inc..
The opening theme song titled "EVOLUTiON:" is performed by Japanese voice actress and singer Yoshino Nanjo, and the ending theme song "Moonlight Walk" is performed by Bandori's girl band Poppin' Party.

Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei is a Japanese isekai light novel series written by Miku and illustrated by U35 which started its serialization as a web series on the online website Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2014. It has been published into a physical novel by Futabasha under its Monster Bunko imprint.
It inspired a manga adaptation by Sorano on Futabasha's Web Comic Action manga website in September 2017.
Synopsis from MU:
Hiiragi Seiichi is an ugly, revolting, dirty, smelly fatass; these are the insults hurled at him one after another about his appearance. Such was Seiichi's daily school life of bullying, then for some reason, one day when school was out, a voice claiming to be a God said over the PA system to prepare to be transported to another world. What's more, not Seiichi alone, but the entire school. A fantasy world where game-like elements such as levels, stats, and skills exist. However, the God still had preparations to complete for the transfer, and would send them over as soon as the hero summoning ritual was ready. The classes all formed groups to wait for the transfer, but Seiichi alone was discluded and as such was summoned to a different area. After being transported the first thing Seiichi ate was the "Fruit of Evolution." This would come to greatly change his life...
This story is about how Seiichi went from being severely bullied by his classmates, even not being recognized for his accomplishments, and despite all that staying positive and surviving in this new world. As a result, he somehow becomes one of the champions. (Also the first heroine is a Gorilla?!)
