The official Twitter of Somato's "Shadows House" manga series has revealed on Monday the main visual for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of the series with the same title. Along with the visual, the staff members of the anime was also revealed. The horror-slice of life series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in April 2021.
The series is animated by CloverWorks and is directed by Kazuki Ohashi. Toshiya Ono is handling the series composition with Chizuko Kusakabe working on the character designs and music is composed by Kenichiro Suehiro.
The cast includes:
Yuu Sasahara as Emiliko
Akari Kitou as Kate Shadow
Ayane Sakura as Lou/Louise
Koudai Sakai as Shaun/John
Reiji Kawashima as Ricky/Patrick
Shino Shimoji as Ram/Shirley

In the past weeks, the character visuals for the characters were released. The anime's first promotional video was unveiled last December previewing the story's plot and character designs.
On October 29, 2020, the anime's first key visual was released featuring the main character Emilyko and her master Kate Shadow-sama.
On October 15, 2020, the TV anime adaptation was announced by the manga series' Twitter account through a preview of the cover of its manga's 6th Volume which was released last week .
The series is based on the horror, mystery, seinen, slice of life and supernatural manga series "Shadows House" written and illustrated by Somato. It was serialized on September 6, 2018 in Shueisha's Weekly Young JUMP magazine and is currently ongoing with 50 chapters in a span of 5 volumes.
Young JUMP, the series' publisher, describes the series as:
Faceless shadow nobles living in a vast mansion, attended by living dolls who spend much of their time cleaning up the soot endlessly emitted by their mysterious masters. Follow the story of Emilyko, a young and cheerful living doll, as she learns her duties serving as the attendant for Kate Shadow-sama.
