The official Twitter for TV anime adaptation of Nekotarō Inui's "Sakugan Labyrinth Marker" novel series has revealed on Tuesday a promotional video with English subtitles and additional staff for the new anime series titled "Sakugan (Sacks&Guns!!)". The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Fall 2021.
The series is produced and animated by Satelight with the direction and scripts by Junichi Wada. The character designs is handled by Yuji Iwahara and the music is composed by Tatsuya Kato. The cast includes Kanon Obata as Memenpu, Hiroki Touchi as Gagamba, Kana Hanazawa as Zackletu, and Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Yuri.

The anime was originally scheduled to premiere in 2020 but was later postponed to 2021.
Masaaki Endo is performing the anime's opening theme titled "Kо̄kotsu Labyrinth (Enchanted Labyrinth" and the ending theme "Shine" is performed by Thai YouTuber MindaRyn.
The series is based on the Sakugan Labyrinth Marker novel written by Nekotarō Inui with the original work by Colony Congress. It is a runner-up story submitted under the "Sci-Fi/Robot" category to Project Anima, a collaboration between companies DeNA, Sotsu, and Bunka Housou that accepts general public story submissions.
