The official Twitter of Japanese online news website Mantan Web has announced on Wednesday (Jan 20, JST) that Yu Tomofuji's "Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts" manga series is receiving a TV anime adaptation. The announcement was revealed in the 4th issue of Hakusensha's Hana to Yume shoujo magazine released on the same day. No other information has been revealed.
The Sacrificial Princess and the King of the Beast manga written by Yu Tomofuji was serialized in 2015 Hakusensha's shoujo magazine Hana to Yume. The manga ended in 2020 and was published in 15 tankōbon volumes in which the final volume was released on January 20, 2021. As of January 2021, the manga has exceeded 1.7 million copies in circulation.
Yen Press, which publishes the manga in English, describes the manga as:
A young girl has resigned herself to being he next sacrificial meal for the Beast King...but the king is no mere monster! Love is more than skin-deep in this gorgeous fantasy manga.
