Romance series 'Bibliophile Princess' releases main PV for TV anime in October 2022

The main PV has more romantic scenes between leading couple Elianna and Christopher, plus the OP theme song Prologue by Yuka Iguchi.

Official channels have released the main promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of Bibliophile Princess, scheduled to air on Oct. 6, 2022. The anime is produced by studio Madhouse.

Bibliophile Princess is a romance light novel series written by Yui and illustrated by Satsuki Shiina. The series stars book-loving Lady Elianna Bernstein (CV: Reina Ueda) who is engaged to Prince Christopher Selkirk Ashelard (CV: Ryōhei Kimura). Despite their engagement, Christopher holds feelings for someone else. And now Elianna finds herself struggling with her feelings as their annulment approaches.


The main PV also features the opening theme song Prologue sung by Yuka Iguchi.

The light novel for Bibliophile Princess was first serialized online from September 2015 to January 2022 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by Ichijinsha, who has released six volumes since July 2016 under their Iris NEO label.


A manga adaptation with art by Yui Kikuta has been serialized via Ichijinsha's shōjo manga magazine Monthly Comic Zero Sum since August 2018. The light novels and manga are both licensed in North America by J-Novel Club.
