'Police in a Pod' releases second PV, airs January 2022

Miko Yasu's comedy manga series Police in a Pod has released a second promotional video (PV) for the anime adaptation which airs on Jan. 5, 2022 on TOKYO MX.

Police in a Pod is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Miko Yasu. It focuses on the struggles of protagonist Mai Kawai as a female in the police force.


The manga has been serialized in Kodansha's Morning since November 2017. It won the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category in 2021. A Japanese television drama adaptation aired on Nippon TV from July to September 2021.

Synopsis from MAL:

Female police officer Kawai had enough of a career she wasn't even that into and was about to hand in her registration, when the unthinkable happened—she met the new, female director of her station!
