Snow Man is a Japanese idol boy band formed by Johnny & Associates in 2012. The nine-member group was previously a sub-unit of Johnny & Associates' pre-debut trainee group, Johnny's Jr. Along with idol group SixTones, Snow Man made their official debut on January 22, 2020. The group has performed theme songs for the anime Black Clover such as Stories (11th opening song) and Grandeur (13th opening song).
The Osomatsu-san television anime is inspired by Fujio Akatsuka's original Osomatsu-kun manga and anime which revolves around the Matsuno household and their six mischievous sons (who are sextuplets). The original Osomatsu-kun series followed the family when the sons were 10 years old, while Osomatsu-san re-imagines the original manga and anime with the sextuplets as adults. All of the brothers have now grown up into lazy NEETs (Young persons not engaged in education, employment, or training), with each brother having developed their own distinct personality. The series follows the brothers in their everyday (and occasionally made up) lives.
The first season of Osomatsu-san premiered in October 2015, while the second season premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo and TV Aichi in October 2017. The Eiga no Osomatsu-san film was released in March 2019. The third season aired in October 2020. Two more films will have limited screenings in theaters in Japan in 2022 and 2023.
