A second promotion video has been released for upcoming original TV anime Lycoris Recoil, which is scheduled to air tomorrow, July 2, 2022.
The anime is produced by animation studio A-1 Pictures and directed by Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online). The original concept was written by Spider Lily, with series composition by Asaura.
The series takes place in a Japanese-style café called 「リコリコ」 (Romaji: Ricorico), located in downtown Tokyo.
In addition to the usual café duties like brewing coffee and making desserts, the second PV reveals the girls also have the secret task of battling crime and protecting their city. Here, main characters Chisato Nishigiki (CV: Chika Anzai) and Takina Inoue (CV: Shion Wakayama) become work partners.
The opening theme song is ALIVE by ClariS, while the ending theme song is Flower Tower (Japanese: 花の塔; Romaji: Hana no Tou) by Sayuri (Sony Music Labels Inc.).
