Official channels have released the first promotional video for upcoming original TV anime High Card, airing this January 2023.
High Card is a mixed media project created by Kakegurui writer Homura Kawamoto, with illustrations by Hikaru Takeno. The series is produced by Studio Hibari and TMS Entertainment.

The first PV introduces the plot as well as the opening theme song Trickster by Japanese band FIVE NEW OLD (Warner Music Japan).
High Card is a supernatural fantasy set in a universe called the Fourland Kingdom where 52 cards that can grant supernatural abilities have scattered across the land. The eponymous "High Card" refers to the organization tasked to gather the cards to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.
The anime is directed by Junichi Wada, who also directed for the anime Eureka Seven and Caligula. Character designs are by Nozomi Kono, who worked on the BL anime Given.
