The official Twitter of NX on Netflix reveals on Tuesday the main trailer for the new Netflix original anime series "Yasuke". The new action fantasy period drama series is set to premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix on April 29, 2021. The series is listed with 6 episodes.
The 'Yasuke' original series is created by series creator/producer/director LeSean Thomas (Cannon Busters). MAPPA is animating and producing the series with Takeshi Koike as the series director. Flying Lotus (FLYLO) co-written the scripts and also serves as the executive producer alongside with LaKeith Standfield. FLYLO is also in charge of the music composition.

FLYLO shared the first images from the series and revealed that the series started its production 3 years ago.
The series tells the story of a Black samurai warrior who must return to his life of sword-fighting and violence in order to protect a mysterious young girl from dark forces.
