The first promotional video has been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Mizuho Itsuki and Fuumi's light novel series Management of Novice Alchemist.
The anime is produced by studio ENGI and is scheduled to air in October 2022.
The story centers on the adventures of Sarasa Ford (CV: Kanon Takao), a newly graduated alchemist who dreams of setting up a shop just like her late parents.
To help fulfill her wish, her teacher gifts her with an empty shop in a remote village. Sarasa's adventures begin as she prepares to fight magical creatures and hone her powers.
Management of Novice Alchemist (Japanese: 新米錬金術師の店舗経営, Romaji: Shinmai Renkinjutsushi no Tenpo Keiei) is a Japanese light novel series written by Mizuho Itsuki and illustrated by Fuumi. It began serialization online in November 2018 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by Fujimi Shobo, who have published five volumes since September 2019 under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint.
A manga adaptation with art by kirero has been serialized online via Kill Time Communication's Comic Valkyrie website since December 2020.
