A trailer video has been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, scheduled to air in Japan on July 8, 2022. The anime is produced by studio NAZ.
The series stars Yuuhi Amamiya (CV: Junya Enoki), a college student who one day wakes up to find a lizard named Noi Crezant (CV: Kenjiro Tsuda) on his bed. Noi explains that Yuuhi has been chosen as a Beast Knight, a magical warrior destined to help Princess Samidare Asahina (CV: Naomi Ōzora) defeat a Mage out to destroy the world with a giant mallet floating in space called the Biscuit Hammer. But then Samidare surprises Yuuhi by saying she wants to be the one to destroy the world instead.
The trailer also features the opening theme song Light of Dawn (Japanese: 暁光; Romaji: Gyoukou) by Half time Old. Meanwhile, the ending theme song is Reflexion by SpendyMily.

About Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer
Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, known in Japan as Samidare of the Stars (Japanese: 惑星のさみだれ, Romaji: Hoshi no Samidare), is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoshi Mizukami. It was serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's seinen manga magazine Young King OURs from April 2005 to August 2010, with its chapters collected in 10 tankōbon volumes. The series is published in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.
