Legend of Mana -The Teardrop Crystal-, the TV anime adaptation of the Seiken Densetsu (Mana) video game series, has released its main promotional video ahead of its broadcast in October 2022.
The anime is produced by studios Graphinica and Yokohama Animation Laboratory. It will be directed by Masato Jinbo (The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2, Restaurant to Another World).
As mentioned, this is the TV anime adaptation of Seiken Densetsu (Mana), a high fantasy action role-playing game series created by Koichi Ishii, with development formerly from Square, and is currently owned by Square Enix.
For this TV anime, the story will follow Shiloh (CV: Nobunaga Shimazaki), a boy living near the town of Domina. One day, he meets Elazul (CV: Yūichirō Umehara) and Princess Pearl (CV: Kaori Nazuka) who are members of the gem tribe Jumi. They have been relentlessly hunted down for the precious jewel on their chests.
The main PV also introduces the opening theme song Tear of Will by Saori Hayami, who also voices supporting character Serafina.
