The TV anime series adaptation of Hiroyuki's "Kanojo mo Kanojo" manga series has revealed on Thursday its first visual featuring the main female protagonists Nagisa Minase and Saki Saki. The visual is posted on the anime's official website and the anime's official Twitter page has also opened today. The new series is scheduled to begin broadcasting somewhere in 2021.
The new TV anime adaptation will be animated by Tezuka Productions with Satoshi Kuwabara serving as the series director. The scripts will be written by Keiichirou Oochi, and the character designs will be handled by Akiko Toyoda.
It will be based on the Japanese romantic comedy manga series "Kanojo mo Kanojo" written and illustrated by Hiroyuki which was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2020. It has been compiled into three tankōbon volumes as of November 2020.
The story follows Naoya Mukai, who had recently begun a relationship with his childhood friend Saki Saki. Nagisa Minase, his classmate, decides to confess her feelings to him as well, and after some initial hesitation accepts her request to be her boyfriend as well. Naoya decides that he will have both Saki and Nagisa as girlfriends at the time. As Naoya currently lives alone due to his parents living elsewhere for work, Saki and Nagisa decide to live with him. The series follows their daily school life, as Naoya, Saki, and Nagisa experience difficulties and challenges in maintaining their love triangle relationship. (via Wiki)
