A TV anime adaptation has been confirmed for Rokujuuyon Okazawa's fantasy light novel series Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-Dai) No Slow Na Second Life.
The anime is slated to broadcast in January 2023. Below is a commemorative visual by illustrator Rurekuchie.
The series' protagonist is dark soldier Dariel (30 years old), who has been dismissed from the demon army for being unable to use magic. He now aims for a more peaceful life in a village full of humans.
Kaiko Sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-Dai) No Slow Na Second Life (Japanese: 解雇された暗黒兵士(30代)のスローなセカンドライフ; English: The Slow Second Life of a Dismissed Dark Soldier in His 30s) is a fantasy light novel series written by Rokujuuyon Okazawa, conceptualized by Sage Joh, and illustrated by Rurekuchie.
A manga adaptation with art by Rurekuchie is ongoing serialization in Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine. The latest tankobon volume, Volume 7, goes on sale in Japan today, July 20.
