The Japanese TV anime adaptation of the American web series RWBY is scheduled to air within 2022.

RWBY: Ice Queendom, the recently announced Japanese 3DCG anime adaptation for American web series RWBY, has released a promotion video introducing the main cast and ending theme.
The endeavor is led by Team RWBY Project, whose main staff is composed of Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), Tow Ubukata, huke, Toshimasa Suzuki, and Studio Shaft.
RWBY is set in the fictional world of Remnant, where young people train to become warriors (called "Huntsmen" and "Huntresses") to protect their world from monsters called Grimm. The name RWBY is derived from the four main protagonists' initials: Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang, and their respective theme colors (red, white, black and yellow).
Saori Hayami, who voices the protagonist Ruby Rose, also sings the anime's ending theme song, Awake, which was composed by Japanese singer TK from the rock band Ling tosite Sigure.
