The official Twitter for the TV anime adaptation of Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao's "I'm Standing on a Million Lives (Hyakuman no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru)" manga series has announced on Friday that 2nd season of the series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in July 2021. A key visual and a PV of the announcement were also released.
The first season of the TV anime series adaptation is animated by Maho film and directed by Kumiko Habara. The series composition and script is handled by Takao Yoshioka and Ken Ito serves as the music composer.
Cast includes Yūto Uemura as Yūsuke Yotsuya, Risa Kubota asIu Shindo, Azumi Waki as Kusue Hakozaki, Makoto Koichi as Yuka Tokitate, and Chiwa Saitō as Kahabell.
The first season consisted of 12 episodes and was aired in Japan's Tokyo MX, BS11, MBS, Wowow on October 2, 2020.
The series is based on the Japanese manga series written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao titled "I'm Standing on a Million Lives (Hyakuman no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru)". It has been serialized in Kodansha's shōnen manga magazine Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine since June 2016 and has been collected in eight tankōbon volumes.
