The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yupopo Orishima's "I Became a Kuro-Gyaru* so I F***ed My Best Friend. (Kuro-Gyaru ni Natta Kara Shinyū to Yatte Mita.)" manga series has revealed on Monday two new promotional videos for the upcoming anime series that will officially premiere on April 4.

PV2: Shion version
The first episode of the "on-air edition" of the anime has already began streaming on YouTube for free but the whole series will premiere on the April 4 at 25:00 JST on Japan's Tokyo MX channel. The ComicFesta Anime website will stream the "premium edition" (explicit scenes included) of the anime.
Animation studio Irawiazu is animating the series with Chokkou serving as the series director. The series composition is handled Eeyo Kurosaki and Rei Ishikura, and McQ1 is designing the characters as well as being the chief animation director. BlackFlag is producing the sound with Ayako Misawa serving as the sound director. Publisher Suiseisha is presenting the project.

Yoshiyuki Shimozuma as Hajime Tsuzuki
Marin Mizutani as Mayu Uehara
The series is based on the boys-love manga written and illustrated by Yupopo Orishima which was first serialized as a web manga. In July 2020, Suiseisha published the manga in one tankobon volume.
The manga under the title F***ed by My Best Friend in English has been released by Coolmic.
Suiseisha describes the story as:
Shion and Rui are the dream team when it comes to hitting on women. Tonight was going to be another night of hooking up with girls for Shion, but he ended up taking a strange drug. When he woke up... he'd turned into a girl?! Rui came looking for Shion, but didn't recognize him, and started hitting on him...
