Philippine broadcast giant GMA Network is set to reveal the cast of the much-anticipated live action series titled “Voltes V: Legacy” starting tomorrow (February 8, 2021) on 24 Oras, the network’s flagship newscast.

GMA Network acquired the rights to make a live-action adaptation of the series through Telesuccess Productions, TOEI's Philippine-based licensing company. In an Instagram post of “Voltes V: Legacy” director Mark Reyes, he posted a teaser stating Monday’s announcement is about the actors who will play the three Voltes V pilots namely Mark Gordon, Big Bert Armstrong and Little Jon Armstrong.

In a separate post by Reyes, a teaser unveiled that rounds of updates and cast reveals will happen next week.

The official Facebook page of “Voltes V: Legacy” published several graphic posters of the Voltes team and Boazanian Invasion Force.

Based on the exclusive interview of “Voltes V: Legacy” creative director Aloy Adlawan with PEP.PH last Sept 17, 2020, the chosen cast were doing script readings in the past months.

Actually, they’ve been doing script readings na. For the past months, nag-script reading sila kaya tuluy-tuloy sila. (Actually, they've been doing script readings since then. For the past months, they've already been doing script reading that's why they are continuously doing it.)” Adlawan said.

In 2020, several artists auditioned for the various role for the program.
