My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 tells the story of salaryman Ryota Sato who works for a black company (a Japanese term for companies with exploitative labor practices).

Ryota is reincarnated into a new world but cannot move on from level 1 no matter how hard he tries. Instead, he survives by making use of his unique skill of collecting rare monster drops from the creatures he defeats.

The light novel is currently serialized by Kodansha Light Novel Bunko and is at seven volumes. Meanwhile, the manga adaptation with illustrations by Mawata will have nine volumes by May 9, 2022. In total, the series has exceeded 1.1 million copies in sales.
