Viz Media, the official English publisher of Shueisha's manga titles, has announced on Sunday that the English publication of 'Death Note: Short Stories' is scheduled for release in Summer 2022.
"Kira's story is over, but the Death Note’s is not…This imaginative complete collection of short stories by the series’ creators explores the impact and influence of the legendary Death Note. Releases Summer 2022!," Viz Media announces.
The manga contains six chapters, five of which are self-contained one-shot chapters, as well as one chapter of 'yonkoma' that was previously published in Death Note 13: How to Read.

Chapter 2: The a-Kira Story (a-Kira-hen)
Chapter 3: Four-panel Scribbles on Death Note (Death Note ni Rakugaki Yonkoma)

Chapter 6: The Taro Kagami Story
The original Japanese version of the manga was released on February 4, 2021 in Japan. The original creators of the Death Note manga, Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba are both credited as the author and the original work, respectively.
