The TV anime for George Asakura's ballet manga series Dance Dance Danseur is scheduled to air in April 2022 on MBS and TBS on their "Super Animeism" timeslot.
The story centers on Junpei Murao who discovers his love of ballet through his older sister. However, after a certain tragedy, he vows to move on from ballet and pursue a more manly craft, until an incident reignites his passion for dance.
The TV anime will be directed by Munehisa Sakai (境宗久), while Studio MAPPA will be in charge of production.
In addition, the above Tweet also announced that volume 22 of the manga will start sales in Japan on Dec. 28, 2021.
