Nissin’s Cup Noodle showcased a summery treat on their Twitter to remind fans that such a delicacy exists. Cup Noodle Soft Serve Ice Cream is a mind-boggling mix of sweet and savory that may delight or divide consumers. The above tweet reads “Our popular Cup Noodle Soft Serve Ice Cream, which sends an error message to your brain the moment you take a bite, is now on sale exclusively at the Yokohama Cup Noodle Museum” and the item can be seen in the museum’s food court menu.

Upon closer inspection, the daring dish is a sundae-style dessert with an swirl of vanilla ice cream as its base. Everything after takes foodies to the wild side. The dish has two flavors: Soy Sauce and Curry. The toppings are bits and pieces of things you would find atop cup noodles: brown cubes of meat, small chunks of scrambled egg, sliced green onions, and, as a cherry on top, a curled-up shrimp. The toppings are all in their dried form adding an extra bit of crunch to the ensemble. Pay the museum a visit and dive into this highly imaginative wonder perfect for the summer heat.

Located in Yokohama, Tokyo, the Cup Noodle Museum celebrates the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of Momofuku Ando — Nissin Food Product’s founder and inventor of the world’s first instant ramen. The museum offers a wide variety of interactive attractions and exhibits including, but not limited to, the Noodle Bazaar: World Noodles Road that takes your taste buds on a trip through Momofuku Ando’s own adventures and the My CUP NOODLES Factory which allows people to design their own unique flavor of instant ramen by mixing soup bases and toppings.
