'By the Grace of the Gods Season 2' releases teaser PV for January 2023 broadcast

In season 2, Ryoma leaves Gimuru to pursue more adventures.

A teaser promotional video has been released for season 2 of TV anime By the Grace of the Gods.


As with season 1, season 2 is also animated by Maho Film. It is slated to air in January 2023.

The series stars Ryoma Takebayashi (CV: Azusa Tadokoro (child), Hiroki Yasumoto), a lonely man who has led a life of hardships until he dies from an unfortunate accident in his sleep. In the afterlife, he is greeted by three gods who send him to another world as a child, where he makes use of his innate knowledge and abilities, combined with the gods' blessings to live a new life filled with challenges and happy meetings.


In season 2, Ryoma leaves Gimuru to pursue more adventures.

By the Grace of the Gods (Japanese: 神達に拾われた男, Romaji: Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko) is a Japanese light novel series written by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra. It began serialization online in January 2014 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō, with a revised version began serialization since September 2015. The series was later acquired by Hobby Japan, who have published eleven volumes since September 2017 under their HJ Novels imprint.


A manga adaptation with art by Ranran has been serialized online via Square Enix's Manga UP! website since November 2017 and has been collected in eight tankōbon volumes. The light novel is licensed in North America by J-Novel Club, while the manga is licensed by Square Enix. An anime television series adaptation by Maho Film aired from October to December 2020.
