The first promotional video has been released for the TV anime adaptation of Black Summoner (Kuro no Shoukanshi).
The anime is scheduled to air in July 2022 and will be produced by studio Satelight.
Black Summoner began as a fantasy light novel series written by Doufu Mayoi. It tells the story of protagonist Kelvin (CV: Koki Uchiyama) who wakes up with no memory of his past life, after which he realizes he bartered his memories away in exchange for powerful new abilities. In his new life, he now works as a Summoner and sets out on adventures to take down strong opponents.
In this first PV, two new characters are introduced, namely, Rion (CV: Yume Miyamoto), a fellow reincarnated adventurer like Kelvin, and Ange (CV: Konomi Inagaki), a guide from the adventurers' guild.

About Black Summoner
Black Summoner (Japanese: 黒の召喚士, Romaji: Kuro no Shōkanshi) is a Japanese light novel series written by Doufu Mayoi. It began publication online on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō novel posting website in October 2014. Overlap began publishing the series with illustrations by Kurogin under their Overlap Bunko imprint in June 2016.
A manga adaptation with illustrations by Gin Ammo began serialization in Overlap's Comic Gardo website in January 2018.
