The previously announced TV anime adaptation of Saizou Harawata and Miyako Kashiwa's "Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting (Deatte 5-byō de Battle)" manga series has been revealed on Thursday by Shogakukan's Manga ONE app to premiere this Summer. No other details were revealed as of writing.
The original manga series was serialized in Shogakukan's manga app Manga One. As of November 2020, the manga has already exceeded 2 million copies in circulation of which the latest 16th volume will start shipping on March 18.

It was just a usual morning. Akira Shiroyanagi, a high schooler who loves games and Konpeito (Japanese sweets), is suddenly dragged into a battlefield by a mysterious girl who calls herself Mion. The participants are told that they are "erased from the family register, involved in an experiment, and have gained certain powers."
