About Tsurune

"Tsurune" (ツルネ -風舞高校弓道部-, Tsurune: Kazemai Kōkō Kyūdō-bu, lit. "Kazemai High School's Kyūdō Club") is a Japanese light novel series written by Kotoko Ayano, with illustrations by Chinatsu Morimoto.

The series was adapted into a television anime by production studio Kyoto Animation, and it aired from October 2018 to January 2019.

Synopsis from Fandom:

Minato Narumiya is a first-year student at Kazemai High School who used to love kyudo until a certain incident at his last middle school competition made him lose confidence and decides to distance himself from kyudo. Despite the urging of his friends, he refuses to join his new school's kyudo club. However, the beautiful sound of a bowstring—a tsurune—and an encounter with a mysterious man in a forest may cause him to change his mind...
